what arrives
Three kinds of thing, and nothing else. What we measured, with the method attached so you can disagree with it. What we got wrong, which is the half of building software nobody publishes. And what actually changed in the app, in the words of someone who made the change rather than someone asked to announce it.
It goes out when there is something worth reading. Some months that is twice and some months it is nothing at all, and a quiet month is the system working: an email sent to hit a schedule is an email written to fill a gap, and you can tell.
If you want product announcements on their own, releases has every version with its notes. If you want the long-form arguments, the record is where those live and it is free to read without giving anyone an address, as is the feed.

One email when there is something worth reading. Unsubscribe is one click and it is in every issue.
every issue
All of them, in full, at their own URLs. Read one before you decide.
what we do with it
We keep your address and the day you gave it to us. Not your name, not your IP address, not which links you clicked, because we do not put tracking pixels or wrapped links in the emails. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing being collected.
It is never sold, rented, or handed to an advertiser, and it is not used to build a profile of you anywhere. The unsubscribe link is in every issue and takes one click with nothing to confirm. The full policy is on the privacy page.
