Straight about it: metering is wired for Claude today. The others launch and link, but do not report usage yet.

questions

Do I need a Claude subscription?

Any of the agent CLIs, authenticated however you already pay for it. Skribbl never holds a key and never proxies a request.

Do you see my code?

No. Skribbl has no analytics, no crash reporting and no account. Your canvases, terminals and scrollback stay on your machine. It makes exactly one request of its own: a version check against GitHub every six hours, which sends nothing about you. The agent you run inside it talks to its own provider, with your credentials, exactly as it would in your terminal.

Why not free?

The closest product to this shut down with a big free user base and no business model. A trial tells us whether it is worth paying for; a free tier never would. You can add one later. You can never take one away.

Monthly?

Not yet. There is no server and no marginal cost, and nobody should pay rent on software already on their disk. Monthly arrives with multiplayer.

What happens to my terminals when I quit?

They survive. Sessions run under tmux, so reopening puts every node, its position and its live session back.

Can an agent run away with my machine?

Each has a permission mode, from plan-only to bypass, and bypass needs a deliberate hold. Nothing can dispatch to an agent it has no drawn line to.
